Today’s resin floors combine all the advantages of an industrial floor covering with a wide range of colors. Besides the choice of colors (according to RAL codes) it is also possible to choose several types of looks (smooth, concrete, quartz) and finishes (mate, gloss, anti-slip).
Resin based floor coverings can also be used in combination with floor heating, indoors and outdoors.
In terms of execution, these self-smoothing coverings are cast to a thickness of 2 to 5 mm. They can be cast on screed or concrete tiles or directly onto a tile floor in the event of a renovation. Of course they have the advantage of an entirely flat and smooth floor, whatever the original surface may be and in this way hide all faults. They are an excellent alternative when renovating a floor.
Resin floors have long been used for industrial applications where their resistance, ease of maintenance and seamless finish offer efficient long term and cost effective solutions. Since a few years and with the rise of aesthetically pleasing floors, epoxy and polyurethane (PU) floors are used more and more for private and commercial applications.
