Renovating, grinding and crystallization of an entrance floor in granito at Mouscron.
Grinding a black and white tile floor.
This projects concerns a very fine granito floor that can be compared to a floor consisting of "marble grains". It is a synthetic tile floor and the tiles are cast and grinded/polished in the factory.
The floor is worn, scratched and dirty.
The grinding of the granito tiles allows to remove the difference in level between the tiles and to completely renew the tiles.
Puttying allows to fill up the pores and cracks in the tiles.
And finally, polishing and crystallization gives the floor a gloss finish and the desired appearance. In this particular case, the crystallization is done by traditional method to obtain a mirror gloss or high gloss finish that is very homogeneous despite the heterogeneity of the matter.
